Eggroll in a Bowl

If you love Asian food like we do, but just don’t have the time or energy to do all the putzy work of stuffing, rolling and deep frying, this recipe fits the bill. I just love this recipe. Amazing flavor and so easy to make. I can get everything ready the night before, so when I get home from work, I can have dinner on the table in less than half an hour. There are only 2 of us in our household, but I double the recipe because we both love good leftovers. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Eggroll in a Bowl

1 pound ground pork

2 cube Pork bouliion

4 cloves Garlic, minced

1 T Ginger, minced

1 T Soy Sauce

1 T Toasted Sesame Oil

6 cups Cabbage, shredded (or Coleslaw mix)

1/4 cup Green Onions, sliced thin

Optional – Bamboo Shoots, diced and/or Water Chestnuts, diced

Blend together raw meat, garlic, ginger, soy sauce and sesame oil. Let sit in refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight.

Brown meat in a little more sesame oil and bouliion. When done, drain and return to the pan. Add the Cabbage and onions. (If adding bamboo shoots or water chestnuts, add now.) Cook to tender.

Serve with toasted sesame seeds, crisp wonton noodles and sweet and sour sauce. To make this more Keto friendly, skip the wonton noodles and sauce.
